5) A society decides what is good or bad by what their culture’s or religion’s rules or laws tell them. A society can also decide what is good or bad by seeing what is beneficial to the group and what is not beneficial to the group.

I do agree with you on that culture or religion is a big part of what is beneficial or not. If something is considered wrong in your culture, why do it? Its obviously bad for a reason. I also agree with your second statement because all people think differently and you can never please everyone.

I agree with your point of view for both five and six. Society decides what is good and beneficial to the people in order to keep a just society. I also agree with your viewpoint on ambition because it may be annoying and difficult in order to achieve it.

I agree with your statement about a society choosing what is good and what is bad. Every society has a culture or no culture with their own beliefs and will choose what is right based on them. And it is beneficial and helpful when all have thesame religion and choose the right thing together.

I don't agree with your reasoning for ambition. It's not just the fact that other people are bothered by ambition, because you can never please everyone in the world. Anything you do or dream to do, there will always be people against it. Ambition's good or bad is determined by the person alone; that's my opinion.

I do agree but i feel that religions shouldn't dictate your life. Like you can live by the ways of whatever you may chose but you can also stray from the path when need be. There are so many things you can do when you aren't thinking about religion.

I agree with you because a society can not good or bad by 1 person's laws or rules. It has to be by everybody. A good ruler should let the people decide how their society should be like. An ambition should be only be good or bad only if it has the right reason.

I agree ambition because a society does determines good or bad. Ambition on the other hand can mean desire or hard work . I also like your example using religion.

I agree with your idea of society. Society can or not be beneficial depending on the rules and laws that are placed. I think that society can be change the group drastically if the laws or rules are changed.

5) A society decides what is good and what is not by the top governed people or by laws. What is good and what is not is different in every society because different societies exist, but they all have a governing system. The people or group that is at the top gets to decide what is good and what is bad by taking in the majority view, or they themselves decide.

I also believe that ambition can be good or bad depending on the person's action. Sometimes, ambition can cause people to hurt others without them knowing. It can also be good if the person's ambitions are just.

Your second claim reminds me of how past leaders of nations (e.g. Hitler, Napolean, Stalin, etc...) all had good ambitions to be great for their country. However, they ended up being too powerful or too "power hungry" and had to be abdicated, whether it was to resign, be banished, or even through death.

5. A society decides whats the best for the community. Which decisions would benefit the most from that one decision. I believe that if the people choose whats best for the community then it probably would be best.

I agree that ambition is both good and bad can be determined at a point in time. Ambition may strive you to work harder than ever towards your goal; however, it might also led to you forget other important things that are in your life, which is a bad thing.

I agree with your statement on society's decision based on what is best for the community, because there is no selfishness in society, their decisions are meant to benefit all, or a majority of people in the society. I like your statement on ambition because it is a good thing to keep aware of thr situation, and what is going on at the moment.

I could see to it that your statement on how society could decide whether something is good or bad is agreeable, but to your statement on how ambition can be good and bad, I can not. To yourself, your ambition may seem like a good thing, but if harmful to others, you could just be oblivious to it.

I agree with you a community does decide for society by asking people to tell them what would be best for this society and what needs to be changed or what needs to be done to make it that we have a better society. To me i think more ambition is what you self do and how you want to achieve that by choosing whats right to do and whats wrong to do.

5) society can tell wheter something is good or not by the way the react to it. If you do something and everyone cheers you for doing it, then you are probably doing something thats good for your community. But on the other hand, if you do something bad and your societ rejects for it, then its probably a bad thing.

That is a very good explanation on how a society chooses what is right and what is wrong. People will react to decisions well or with disgust based on how they see it. The people, or society will agree and act upon each other's decisions and support or reject their ideas.

I agree with you that sometimes too much ambition in one's mind isn't the best thing for that person. I would also add on that if a person's ambition id being misguided in another direction, it will affect their mindset. That mindset will not only hurt themselves, but the others around as well.

5) Society decides what is good or bad by using moral and ethics to judge us. Some people also use other stuff to decide what is good or bad, such as culture and religion. Superstition can also be used to judge a person. Laws are needed in order to keep society stable.

5)Society decides what is good or bad on your own decision. There are things we all know are bad, for example murder and rape, and so society should keep viewing those as wrong. However, things that happen in day to day life, like lying to someone or punching someone- those are things that society deems wrong, but I think it's up to the person doing them to decide.

5. A society decides what is good or bad through the collection of a compilation of opinions from its’ people. The majority’s opinion decide what is good or bad. Thus, the laws created in the society, which should represent the morals and values of the people, should dictate the decisions verdicts.

1. A society decides what is good and bad according to their beliefs (religion) and morals. For example, people in Israel had laws that were according to the ten commandments that was a big part of jewish faith. Also in today's society, people vote for laws they believe are right. There is always two sides to the laws because what people might think is right might seem wrong in the eyes of a person who thinks the opposite of one subject.

1.) Society has many tough choices. For instance of wich is good or bad. It basically depends on that type of life and choice you are doing or handling. It is really tough to have a simple and nice society and when there are bad things coming out of nowhere. Society is very unknown on the type of life you are having.

The commentary in regards to the question of ambition, is quite striking to me, by which reminded me of another situation through watching an anime of Naruto's latest episode. Naruto's ambition to become recognized by the Hidden Leaf Village has surprisingly turned to an outcome of something quite unexpected which his goal had created a sense that he do everything himself and that his goal had excluded aid from others which he will fail. Thus, I agree with your commentary in regards to the negligence of morals and ethics to follow one's dream is bad.

5. Society meets with what is accepted whether as good or as bad. Much of the cultural or traditional views that are reiterated are widely prevalent among societies. Among these prevalent views, are the differentiating views as good or as bad. Society as a whole will determine through analysis of religious beliefs and general grounds whether that idea is accepted as a good or bad one.

1. Society can make ethical decisions by listening to the people. If a society is hearing a lot of complaints about the decisions the government is making, then it is mostly likely a bad thing in general. If an composed idea gets lots of support, then the people in the society should gratefully accept it.

1. I think that society has a mindset of its own. Yes, it is a combined idea of a group of people, but it is an idea that is just rumored along. Some might just agree with it because their peers agree with it. Society knowing what is good and bad is just a rumor idea spreading around by the mouth of our peers.

I see this all as fact since we do not just choose one at random, it all depends on what a person has experienced and that experience grows as they experience it more. I also believe ambition is good when a person is doing it for their own being, and this is true for most people.

I agree with your idea of how goodness is taught from when we're young so we grow up to be good people. Also, it is true that good and bad decisions differ with various situations, but I believe that if a person has sense in their mind to prevent them from hurting others, then I don't think it's necessarily true that a mistaken decision can come to us as being the wrong thing.

5. A society decides what is good and what is bad by knowledge and logic. As humans we use our common sense to understand the good and bad nature of the world. Therefore, a society's good and bad distinction is turned into laws. Laws help prevent the unfortunate events to happen in the world and it places people onto the right track to become good, just in case some individuals don't have common sense to decide what is good and bad.
