Ethics Questions: What do I now KNOW?

8/27/2014

You have just completed your first small group, film project.

Write a reflection that responds to the prompt:

• What do I now know that I did not know before completing this project?

Include both the PROCESS: what it was like

1) working with your group,
2) researching the answer to your question,
3) filming, editing, and sharing your infomercial.

AND the CONTENT: the newfound knowledge about your topic.

After you have contributed your metacognitive reflection, please respond to one other person. You can respond to someone in your class or someone in another class period.

I learned that all my group members are creative individuals. As a united whole, we conquered this project, but it doesn't end here. We will be ready for any new projects and aim to improve step by step. We were able to put all our ideas together and make a great movie. I am completely confident we can do it again even better. We defined the word initiative without any research, but instead in our own terms. We worked together effectively and efficiently on filming and acting. Then, I edited the video and put the finishing touches.

I learned that there was a big difference between happiness and goodness and we didn't do a good job explaining the difference. Working with my group was okay but sort of unproductive, and we used general definitions even though I thought they weren't good definitions. We need to do a better job at filming, editing, and sharing our information.

Don't worry your group did fine, and your guys' videos will only improve. Next time i suggest that you should probably distinguish that goodness is a behavior which can lead to happiness which is an emotion.

The first question is how was working with my group, and that was hard. It was hard because everyone had their own idea. It wasnt easy to pick one. It was also hard sharing the area where there is noise in the backround. Some member spoke up to most descions, and researching for the question was pretty explainable. everyone has their own definition of universal good. Because life is full of choices for you to make. Filming was hard because the actors kept thinking of things that made them laugh, and people to focus enter when told to. Editing for me was pretty simple and easy, because i been taught at an early age. Presenting it was pretty bad, because no one under stood it.

All of my group members are creative all creative during the project. Working with my group was great we all came up with ideas for the video. Researching the question was simple to do, we just used one of our phones to look up "What is initiative?". When we got the answer to our question we were able to make the video. The thing I like about filming, editing, and sharing the infomercial was that we were able to get it done.

Working on this project has allowed me to learn that goodness comes in different forms, and that not everyone is willing to develop that trait. This group was really fun and great to work with because everyone equally contributed their ideas and we all worked together in order to make our video become possible. It turns out that editing videos are a lot harder than it seems, as well as doing different takes, but in the end it was all worth it because we are very proud of our work.

After working on my first small group, film project, I learned a lot of things about filming with a mall group.

I now know that the filming process is not as simple as create, shoot, and edit. While working with our group, I learned that it was not that simple shooting a film due to the insane influx of ideas that we had in the creation of the plot of the film. Pair that up with the inability to keep a straight face or while filming only continued to ground down the progress rate. Surprisingly, the answer to our question was easily answered by our group, with an unanimous answer within the first few minutes of starting this project. In terms of filming, we had a ton of bloopers and the editing was lackluster. Next time. the film has to be edited to be more vivid and attention grabbing (IE: Lens flares, Dubstep, fire, etc, music).

I had always thought that there was never a universal definition of good in the universe, but after working I realized that all of us create our own universal definition with the actions that we take during our lives.

We need to work better more as a group since our first film project didnt go so well. And be able to agree better on making our next film project better than the last. We researched a lot on our question but it was difficult to get definitions for the terms and be able to explain if they were similar or different. Editing our video was great, and sharing our informercial, but the filming wasn't to great and needed a lot more work.

Working with my group was fun, and by working with them, I learned how fun and interesting a group project can be. Our question was "What is initiative?", and I learned many things researching this topic. For example, I learned that initiative is doing what is right. I also learned that filming, editing, and sharing infomercials with the class is an embarrassing experience.

My group's film and other group's film helped me learn many things. For example, I learned about goodness and happiness, and doing what is right. I also learned how other groups made sharing their informercials interesting to watch but still informative.

While completing this project, I learned many different things in different areas. I learned that when working in a group, it is best to let one person speak at a time so that everyone's ideas are heard because someone might be to shy to share their ideas in a group of many people. Also, it is good to share many ideas and discuss them because conversations lead to better developed ideas. I also learned that it is good to record many different takes so you can choose from a variety of clips so the video is always exciting. Finding the answers to questions can come from a variety of places, including television shows. I watched a show called Brain Games which lead me the realization of what the right thing is so I learned that resources are not restricted to only books and the internet but also some television. I also learned some new things about why people do the right thing. People do the right thing for many reasons but mainly because we as humans feel compassion towards others and we feel bad for others who are in negative situations so we try to help them. We have all been in a bad situation such as dropping our things in the hallways and it is embarrassing and you want to try to pick up everything as fast as possible. When we see other people drop their things we feel bad because we have been there so we choose to help them because we don't want them to suffer like we did. Also, it is difficult to define the what "the right thing" actually is because there are so many situations where we have the option to do the right thing so the definition constantly changes. This project has made me realize that it is human nature that drives us to do the right thing and it is human instinct that tells us what the right thing is.

Before working on this project, I had an idea of what human goodness was, but now I know what human goodness really is. One part of human goodness is to show random acts of kindness. Working with my group was really fun. There was never a dull moment. Finding the answer to the question was somewhat challenging in my opinion. There weren't any specific ways to describe human goodness found on the internet. Filming and sharing our video was fun. All the awesome editing was done by Tay Tay! For me I learned that there is a bigger meaning to happiness and goodness, and that its not just a simple definition you find online or in a textbook. Working on this project was fun and all but out group needs to do better next time when we have a video project. Researching for us wasn't that hard, thats because we just went online and used the first definition we found. I would have to say editing and filming was fun and it allowed us to have some fun and enjoy doing the project more.

When we were assigned our question, we were at a blank as to what the content was to put in. The video project was to express our creative minds and to teach the question, "Is happiness and goodness the same thing?". We started out the video with simple definitions of each and as to why they were different from each other. To be honest, our video was probably one of the worst in the class today. In the future, I will make sure that all projects will be taken seriously and that we will do a way better job than this project.

What do you now know that you did not know before completing this project?

In this project, i learned that I work really well with my group (table that I sit with). Everyone is extremely helpful, easy to work with, and motivated to do a good job.

Throughout this process we found that we did not really need to research the answer to our question: what influences choice?" because choices are all around us and there is no need to research examples.

Throughout the process of filming and editing I learned that it really matters where and when you record your clips because of background noise and people messing up your "shot".

Content wise, I learned that I should not judge people for the choices that they make, especially if they are different from the choices that I would have made, because a lot of things can affect their decision making process.

After this project, I learned that communication with your groupmates is key to getting work done. We learned that brainstorming ideas together helped us work much faster than having each of us go home and think up ideas by ourselves. Not only that, but we learned to not be as shy when it came to being in front of the camera because if we got nervous or whatnot, filming would take too long! I also learned from researching the answer to our question that all of our choices are made by just ourselves and can be influenced the people we surround ourselves with. Through filming our commercial, I learned that the funniest parts are usually never caught on tape! But they make great memories anyways!

Besides learning from the process of this project, I also learned that many factors influence our choices. This can be a good thing if we surround ourselves with the people who we want to be like. For example, being around others who always exemplify an example of kindness or honesty. Although, our choices are our own final judgement and decisions, we can be easily be influenced by our surroundings.

I learned from this process that if you work with people that you are comfortable with, it is much easier to get work done. Also that good communication between the group mates will also make the process go much quicker than those who do not communicate so well.
1) I really enjoyed working with my group because we were all comfortable with each other and we all got along, so we didn't waste any time and we supported each other's ideas.
2) Our group did not literally go and look up this questions, we mostly brainstormed based off of our own opinions on what we thought would influence choice.
3) As for the editing the video, i give all of the credit to Tammi Matsukiyo. She has great editing skills and she is what made the video look so nice. If i were to have edited the video it would not have turned out that way.
Based off of our video, this is not something that i learned, but something i realized that i already knew, because people's choices are influenced by what their parent say, or by peers, or by what is popular at the moment.

This video project was a lot of fun but video editing was much more difficult than I thought it would be. Working with a group made the process of deciding what to include in the video a lot easier because each person in our group contributed their own ideas and creativity. Defining and researching what goodness is for our video was difficult because there are so many different ways people define goodness. We each ended up choosing a word that representated goodness to us. In the end, sharing the video and hearing the positive reaction by the class was the most rewarding part of the experience.

I learned that doing the right thing in life depends on if you are willing to make the choice of going against the flow and helping others that are in need of help. That if someone drops there books in the hallways or gets pushed to the lockers you should comfort them or help pick up their books.
While working with my group, we understood the problems that people had to endure during times of struggle and that it is your decision for you to make the right choice. We wanted to show a person in need getting picked on and the different scenarios that a person could do in that situation. While presenting our project it did not go as planned though we expressed our opinion in the process. While editing the project, we made it look very low budget and could use improvement in the future. As we researched the project, for what is the universal good we found out that it is making the choices in life.

I now know that if you do good things for other people, they will return the favor.
1) I had fun working with the group. I did not like the way it ended but i still enjoyed the time we spent together.

2) While researching my answer I realized there is no universal definition of good. That we use human terms and ideas derived from human experiences to describe humans. So therefore we cannot agree upon a single and concrete definition of good.

3) The writing, the filming, and the editing were all terrible. I have nothing else to say about that.

While completing this project, I had a flashback to Ms. Sutton's freshman English class when my group and I had to work on a project on a similar project. (I don't remember now)

It is never good to bully one another. It is worse that another person would ignore the victim and walk away. It is good to help one another when they are being bullied. I know it can be difficult to make a decision whether to help the victim or not. You should help because that decision will help you back in life. (karma). We had some difficulties while working on the project because we had little time, my group members could not hold their laughters while filming and the script was difficult thanks to my partners. We did our research on our phones and we didn't find much. A lot of the scenes were planned from our own perspective. All the editing were done by Charly, so thank him if he does a nice job.

I learned how hard it was to put together a video with the different ideas that everyone had. We put together a basic video with the an editor we had just learned to use, but I believe this is a learning experience and my group members and I will learn to make better videos in the future. While researching my question "Why do people do the right thing?" I saw how there are many different ways to look at it. People have their own reasons to do the things that they do. Throughout the process of creating the video, I learned how to edit with a different program, create new ideas, and help one another as a team/group.

From doing this project, I understood that if everyone does not contribute equally, there will be a difficult situation. But also, from the same lesson, I also understand that once everyone works together well and cranks their gears, the project becomes an easy going and fun one to do. It is never good to leave one out of the project even if you believe they do not want to contribute, we should ask no matter what, because we may not know if they actually want to contribute as well. We need to learn how to edit and voice over our videos so the result is better next time, other than that, I'm looking forward to more group projects.

I now know that people can be peer pressured into doing stuff and it's not just one of those things in those anti-drugs lectures.

The process we took was: (1) think about what to do (2) agree on how to o about it (3) film (4) edit (5) present

The content was me being peer pressured into eating the thing that I didn't originally want then I was bummed because I wasn't my own person.

From this project I learned that my group is really easy to work with. I also learned that the question "why do people do the right thing" is difficult to answer and there's no right answer.
1) I had fun working with my group and I like the end product of our project.
2) When trying to answer this question I learned that everyone has their own unique answer and there is no "correct answer".

After finishing the project, I learned that most cooperative groups that work well with each other outside of projects and understand each other well will reflect on the project itself. In group projects where friends work together will you see how they had fun and made the project work as compared to people who aren't comfortable with each other and awkwardly presenting. The whole process of researching and putting the project together with my group was enjoyable because we would laugh at the same things and agree on many things. Its a good feeling when you present a project and you did it well with people you are comfortable with.

I find it harder to stay in contact with those that i dont know, or talk to regularly. Looking for the answers to our question, i discovered that there are many different meanings and perspectives to the subject of good. I enjoy working with my group because we are friends outside of class. Throughout this project we recorded peers at school asking them " why do most people do the right thing?" their responses varied on who they were, how they were raised, and why they thought what they did. Most of the people gave somewhat the same answer regarding their moral ethics.

The information gathered from some students around the school helped me get a better understanding of why people to the right thing. Everyone has a different reason of why they do the right thing and gathering this information opened new perspective. Working on this small project was a great way to start off the school year and our whole group seemed to work well together. I know now that it is better to incorporate voices into the video instead of reading it aloud. My group didn't know how to, but for future projects, we will learn how to. (1) It was hard at first to work with my group because only few people gave the answer and explanation. Plus, I don't know how to edit imovie, and only one person in our group did, but i tried to help with the answer as much as I could. Some people in my group did more work than others. (2) Researching the answer to the question didn't help. We had to think about the question, and answer them from what we thought. (3) Editing was hard because I didn't know how and only one person in our group did. Sharing our video was also kind of hard because we talked too slow and we had to go back and pause. We do need work in our editing, but we will learn and figure it out. I learned a lot from this one question -to do the right thing. Its important to have moral values. I now know that many people do the right thing for different reasons: maybe religious values, morality, etc. Other than that, i like doing group projects.

2) While researching our question I have realized that there were many things that could influence choices and it happens in so many places more than once.

I know nothing more, this was simply a refresh or recall to me from last year. I did find out a few things about what to do in some situations and found out the things behind them to prevent such things from occurring. It was great working with my group, dropping in ideas. The research was from just thing. The editing was great and easy since I am already doing one for Band which is far superior to the one shown in this class(this one sucks). This knowledge is not newfound its old and done previously. I now know about what to do in editing and creation and more flow and what to do for videos especially my Documentary(Project BG). The Universal definition of good is centered around the current world power in that time. The definition of "Good" is never static it will always change peoples perspectives change over time. Until humans can manipulate the entire universe to their wishes and wills then the definition will always be different.

My question i completed was 'why do people do the right thing?'. I think its because to avoid consequences mainly.
When I was working with my group, i felt that everyone has contributed and did their part well. we all came up with the answers together.
When we were researching the answers it was somewhat a challenge because their can be so many wrong and right answers and we just had to pick the best out of them all.
Honestly, for the filming, i think that we could have done better but now that we have examples from other videos we could really improve it and we definitely have more ideas about it.

• What do I now know that I did not know before completing this project?
I didn't realize how many people actually get peer pressured

Include both the PROCESS: what it was like

1) working with your group,
It was pretty easy getting it done
2) researching the answer to your question,
it was pretty much looking at some infomercials
3) filming, editing, and sharing your infomercial.
It was just alright

AND the CONTENT: the newfound knowledge about your topic.
The knowledge i've had for this topic was that there are so many things that may influence your choice and that not all the choices you make should be based off of influence. You just need to know what you can and can't do. Make good judgements.

I have learned that there is not one definition for human goodness, but many depending on the actions people perform, things people say, and views people have.
It was nice working in my group, we didn't do anything that would bring each other discomfort in our video and had agreements on what to include and what to not include. Everyone contributed in a way.
Finding the definition was a bit tricky, since people had different definitions on what human goodness is. However, we decided to give the definition we came up with in our group (with help from various sources on the internet of course, we didn't make it up out of the blue).
As for filming, we had fun doing it. There were times we messed up and bursted into a fit of giggles, but we had fun and I think that is important when it comes to group work. As for editing, not everyone contributed to it since only a few people in the group were skilled with video editing. But we did our best to give support and praise to our editors. Unfortunately, as much as I don't want to admit it, it's not a very well made video. Regardless, everyone put in as much effort as they could to contribute to the video.
I learned many things from this project. We should do our best to make people smile. There is enough cruelty and unhappiness in our world that people forget what goodness even is. We should all do our best to cover up the ugly, terrible parts of the world with beauty and goodness.

They were always on task and paying attention to other ideas suggested by others in the group. This group was very organized. I hope I can work with them again! In this group filming project, I worked with my teammates cooperatively, trying to define a very common concept: goodness.

To me, filming is very interesting, for we can use pictures, languages, and all kinds of technics to make up our own story.
In the first discussion, we all give our opinions about out scenario, trying to express goodness in a clear, easily-understand way. After discussion, we arrange our role, and began to film. The process was harder than I imaged, which also reflects the concept of overconfidence. I learnt in psychology class. Acting and presenting a role are difficult and weird before the camera. To act a role well and naturally, we need to try to release ourselves, and become who we are in the story.

Our story is about a help girl gives help to people in need; through small actions, she brings others convenience and happiness.
I understand that, small things in life can reflect goodness, and if we want to help, there are a lot of chances in life. We should help others for no return and selfish purposes.

As a group we found the answer to our question and learned what it really means. I figured that more projects like this would come our way , so I am very excited for it!

After completing this project, I now know what it means to take initiative. Working with the group was a bit difficult. We all had different ideas so it made it hard for us to work together. We struggled while researching examples. Filming was fairly simple; however, editing the video was difficult because no one had an editing program nor knew how to use iMovie on the school's computer. Researching what initiatives means taught me that initiative means similar to being a leader.

I did not know that working in a group could be very fun. We interacted with each other more, thus created an opportunity for us to get to know each other better. I realized that editing was a really long process, though i wasn't the one who edited the video. We all did the research on our own and shared with the members the next day. The filming process was really fun.

When working with my group, I learned that we can cooperate with each other well and come up with many different ideas. Through this project i learned that there are many other thing that can influence one's choice and what can cause us to make that choice in life. I'm aware that our infomercial are lacking a few things and hopefully we will add some music or talk during the recording of our video

i am glad that you and your group cooperated , as long as you had fun doing the infomercial. I also like your statement about choice.

While working on this project, I learned that team work is very important. There was different opinions along the way when were were brain storming what to film for the video, but we were able to figure everything out at the end. I personally really enjoy working with every single group member because everyone contributes. I also learned that doing the right thing can raise your self esteem. For example, instead of playing games on your computer, you go to the gym or when someone drops their stuff, you offer for help. I'm looking forward for more projects like this. :D

The process of making the video project surprisingly went very well. Everyone cooperated and put in effort to help the video. I can already see the strong teamwork skills we possess as a group. Researching the answer for the question proved fruitless because the online definition of "happiness" was too wordy. Instead, we decided to each display a word that exemplified "happiness" to us. We chose words such as "grace," "honesty," and "righteousness." The process of filming the video was fun. We were able to be productive and still have laughs at every take. Editing the video was a bit tedious for Samuel, who was the only one with competent editing skills. We encountered a few technical difficulties, but we are all pretty happy with the end result. Making this video reminded me again of how easy it is to be a good person. Whether it is simply greeting someone in the morning or opening the door for others, anyone can achieve human goodness and practice acts of kindness everyday.

Making a video in two days (scripting, filming, editing) was a struggle on it's own. However, I worked well with my group which led to a positive experience. Finding the answers to my question was not that hard because they were things we went through in our everyday lives. If there was anything that I would change differently about this project, it would be to have more time. I felt like there was so little time and we were not able to produce videos of the highest quality. Other than that, I enjoyed making the video.

I learned that I'm a person that really try to be in charge of things and take charge when it comes to stuff like this. I learned that when learning/researching with my group that there were a lot more things then just the reasons we explained that influenced choice. During editing I will admit it was a little bit of a challenge, but me and my group ended up figuring it out and it turned out well. I think I would make a few changes here or there but all in all I think we did well and I was proud of what we had done

While working on this film project, I learned that time is very valuable since we only had two days to work together during class time. Also, communication and team work was very important. I really enjoyed working on this assignment, it was exciting seeing all the great ideas everyone came up with. This particular project has also taught me something about ethics on how to do good and make choices. I also enjoyed working with my group they all did great!

• What do I now know that I did not know before completing this project?

I did not know that there were all these meanings to the question "What Influences Choice?". i learned many things about what influences choices and the reasons why.

Filming was a great way to learn and interact with my group members.I learned how to film and use imovie. My group was fun and we were able to finish the film pretty quickly because of teamwork and how everyone wasn't afraid to act and really be themselves. Our question was, "What is choice?" We decided to learn the definition of choice first and then continue on from there. We took a more sad approach as "someone" decided to choose drugs over school and that ended up making that "someone" homeless.

Group project has its pros and cons. Working on group projects has always been a fun but very tedious task. Our groups topic was "what influences choice?" I enjoyed the creative aspect of this project. We as a group were able to take the idea of choice and express parts of our self in bits and clips. Coming up with the ideas were the most challenging part of this project because we couldn't narrow down the possible scenarios. Being the only guy in the group didn't come easy as well. It was hard to incorporate both a guy and girl scene in all of our examples. Last but not least, editing was a pretty time consuming part of this project. However, I did learn a few tricks that would be beneficial in future edits. Overall, this project was fun and different. We were able to express and show off our creativity, something we rarely get to do in other academic classes.

Working with my group was fun. We discussed the projects together and there were lots of things I learned. I learned that getting the ideas out and filming them need team work. Everyone was one of the characters in the video and had to participate. Even though we had different opinions, we figured them out at the end. For our question, I think happiness and goodness are different things. Happiness is the metal or emotional state of well-being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions. Goodness is the state or quality of being good.I think next, we will make the project be better.

While completing our first film project I realized that you could express your thoughts and feelings in other ways other then using pen and paper. I also learned that team work is another very important factor if you want to get the job done right.
When my group and I were working on the project we all had a specific job title. One person was involved in looking for which type of music would be played in the background. Another person was in charge of deciding how how long the video would be. While the other two did the editing of the video. In order for us to complete the film project correctly we had to make sure we were all participating.
This project helped me realize the meaning behind teamwork. Which I very much enjoyed.

This video was fun to make because my group was very cooperative and we all shared our ideas to make a great video we all agreed on. We did not have a lot of trouble making the video. It was a fun task and should make more group videos. Also, it was fun having other people besides our group members such as Raymond Morales because he is friendly and entertaining. This video was a great start to the year because we had the chance to interact with our classmates and meet new friends.

I learned that my table works very well together and we did not really bump heads at all. We all agreed on one thing most of the time and we got the job done. Our video about initiative came out really good in my opinion. We included some characteristics of an initiative person and also some ways that people could get involved to be initiative. We had some trouble editing the video mainly because I don't think any of us had much experience with video editors on mac. However, we got it done in the end and it came together really nicely. After doing this project I learned the true meaning of initiative and it is to take charge and do the right thing when no one else will. I learned that you should always take the initiative if given the chance because you have the opportunity to do something good and right.

Working with my group was a great experience because we were able to work as a team and have fun at the same time. The roles for each person was divided evenly. We finished the project and it came out pretty well. Our question was pretty straight forward as we were able to gather information. Editing the video took a lot of time, too.

By doing this project I learned a bit more about my group members.
1) Working with my group was simple. Everyone contributed their own thoughts and ideas.
2) We each thought of how happiness can and cannot mean goodness at the same time. Which then made us think about what happiness and goodness really was.
3) Everyone acknowledged what they were suppose to do for the filming which made it go by a lot faster.
As an result of this project it made me think about what happiness and goodness really was and the meaning behind both of these terms.

While I was working on the project, I learned that working with people isn't so difficult when they cooperate and help each other out. When I was working with my group it wasn't really that hard and it was fun as well, we worked as a team looking for answers for our question. As for our filming I am going to say it was kinda hard because none of use knew how to edit but overall our video was pretty good, i could say that in the future i will enjoy working with my class mates :). In my topic I learned that people don't always do the right thing for the right reasons while some people do it for the good of the other person.

This project was really fun for my group and I. It was a good experience we all agreed on how we were going to do the video. We all became better friends which is nice. It was fun recording our video because we had a good laugh when we would mess up. Researching the answer was not so bad we had 2 selfish reasons why people do the right thing and we had had 2 good reasons. Now i know that next time we should do some more edits to our video to make it better.

Working with my group was a good experience but not only was it a good experience it was also fun. We all had a role that we played evenly and they were all in important. My group had a a lot of laughs making the video. Researching the question was pretty easy because we looked it up and it was right there. My group looked it up and we all had say so in what we thought choice was and we came to an agreement what it meant. Our filming took a lot of thought because we didn't know what to do so we all put our own ideas so then we eventually came up with an idea. At first it was hard filming because i am not used to get recorded and stuff like that. But other than that it was a fun experience.

Group work can be difficult, but it can also be enjoyable. Filming with my group was fun and it helped me learn to interact with other people. The topic for my group was "what influences choice?" My group made 3 different scenes that we believe as a group related to the topic. Finding ideas for the scenes was the hardest part because there were so many ideas, but we wanted to pick the best ideas. My group members were very reliable and I enjoyed working with them. Sometimes working with a group could be a hard, but with my group members it was easier. In the end we learned the meaning of choice and all the different possibilities that influence choice.

Through this project, I learned that my group works really well together. We all had really creative ideas that came together nicely. I would say that we all contributed pretty evenly, unlike most group projects I have been a part of. We had a really fun time filming and working together. Researching our question, I realized how many factors in everyday life influence our choices.

I learned about what exactly human goodness is. Human goodness is easy to achieve-- you just have to use your heart and do something nice for someone without expecting anything back. I learned that human goodness is not to just be moral to oneself, but also to others that are around you. The process of making the video for this project was actually fun. It was a little stressful managing our time and making the video with such a close deadline, but I enjoyed working with my group. I got to get a little closer to my group members. We researched words that had to do with human goodness and that was what we used to determine what it actually meant. Filming the video was a good experience and we had a lot of funny moments. I was absent on the day our film was shared with the class, but I'm still proud of our finalized project! Not only did I learn about human goodness, I also learned teamwork and time management.

While we worked on our first project together, I thought my group was a bit indecisive. We couldn't decide what to do after researching our topic. I did learn though that as we researched our topic, I realized that there are no definition for the word "good". "Good" is an opinion and everyone has their own definition of "good". The hardest part was when we made the video. We had no idea what to do for our video, but than we decided to just use what was in front of us: post-it notes. Overall, I think we need to improve on time management and working together better.

Through this experince I have learned to not put too much trust within your group members to compete tasks with certian expectations. The group that I had worked with had a lack of communication and effort. We had spent too much time researching on how to complete our project rather than completing the assignment itself. Though the majority of my group is at fualt I too am at fault. I had lacked the effort to speak up about what we were doing wrong. Though this experience resulted in a negative result of a C letter grade I believe this shines a light towards a new standing point for out next project so that we may improve.
