Im willing to notice that we live in a time of increased time of human sorrow. Everyone seems to hate their job, and hate the relationship they are in. People also can never look at the positives in their life and only look at the negatives.

We can turn away, or we can turn toward. Those are the only two choices we have.
This impacted me because it is so true. We all have the choice to help one another yet most people just turn away and ignore the problem, the everyday heros are the ones who turn toward one another and help each other.

This two sentences impact me by noticing me that every person wants to talk about their stories, and I can be a listener sometime.

"We want to be reminded of human goodness"

This quote has impacted me by showing how everyone wants to be reminded how good the world is. Sometimes we need to work hard in order to find out the goodness that humans truly have. Even with all the negatives that have been going around, I believe that there are still goodness within every single one of us. Sometimes we are not shown this everyday because we are reminded of the negatives more than the positives. We have to have a strong mind in order to be reminded the positives of being human.

"With out belief in each other there really is no hope"

The reason why i believe this is because in order for us to live happily in this world, we should learn to believe in one another . It will not only make the world we live in today to be a better world, but it will cause the arising of hope in one another and makes us connect with each other more often. This will lead us humans to be sovereign and always keep in mind that they can turn ti one another whenever there is problem occurring and help fix it, Together. Instead of living in a selfish world, it will not benefit us in anyway. So lets make a change and make a difference and make this world a better place for everyone.

" No one will give it to you because thinkingis always danguerous to the status quo."
I am willing to notice that the world we live in is undergoing many problems but we choose to ignore the problems. We act as if they are not a problem, we were told to think for ourselves and act on what we believe in. As we age we decide to just stop feeling we aren't happy but we wont change it because if we think of change we endanger what we have already planned for the lives we have chosen.

"We turn away, and try to get on with our own lives."

This impacted me because when we face hardships, we do not like facing them. We try running away from them and move on. Everyone has different coping strategies, but many people have no other way to deal with all the terrible images and memories, so we try to forget about and ignore the situation. But does that make us human? Not caring and ignoring situations by running away or forgetting that it never happened, does not solve any problems. But, today many people do not turn to each other anymore, we try to cope with our problems and forget about them like nothing happened.

What i notice about the world is that we are disconnected from each other. Social Media plays a huge role, we hide behind computers and cell phones to talk to each other, not face to face. We need to put aside these materialistic things and just have a face to face conversation with someone to REALLY get to know each other.

"You don't need to do anything except be there, bearing witness to their loss and sorrow."

People just want you to listen so you can be there and just go through this event with them. Like in the book, the African woman just wanted people to be aware of what was going on around her, she didn't need any comforting words, just the comfort that someone else understands.

I'm willing to notice a lot of things about the world. :/ Oh hai gais, respond to the article roflbbq

This section faces the issue of suffering and how mentally people react to it which is probably not necessary for the purpose of the book but might be necessary for her conscience, to put, in the book. What is the best way to respond to suffering? What is the best way to respond to anything.

*A stalwart, weathered philanthropist shies away in the face of a major disaster, which was what got her thinking.
It insists that you should not run from it, for your conscience, What if you cannot do anything about it? The answer is that your care can do something. You can always do something, and that thing is at least thinking and talking.

Doing nothing certainly doesn't help. "The world still gets in and gnaws at out insides" still. It makes heavy of the idiosyncrasy that people run because of their emotions when the world needs them most.

Bear witness, at least. Notice, and that will be a good. I don't know if I agree, since i think something can always be done, but the direction is true.

Oh, and if you want to know what I am willing to notice about the world, I bear witness to world news constantly. It has more levity than the general impression given might let on, but it certainly has crises. And I do acknowledge it, with all its underlying vulnerabilities and capability for catastrophes from the collapse of its rotten cores.

I agree with this quote because I feel like a lot of people are unhappy with their lives. Maybe they hate their job or they have no one to talk too. Now a days people are sad and unhappy with who they've become or how their life is

"If they lived it; the least I can do is read about it"
When we read stories we sort of put our selves in the books. Meaning we relate out life to whats happening in the book or we imagine that it's happening to us. Writing it makes people understand what someone went through and how they felt.

I am willing to notice and listen to the tragedies and hardships of the world and not just turn away from them, no matter how disturbing the news may be to my own personal self. No matter how big or small the tragedy may be, at least one person involved needs someone to just listen to them and not judge or reply. Tragedies and hardships are meant to be lessons, and if no one bothers to listen, then we don't learn.

I am willing to notice that besides all of the tragic things that are shown in the news, there are places experiencing something worse. Even though some tragedies cannot be told to us by word or mouth or by seeing, it doesn't mean we can just do what we always do pretending they aren't there. To be human we have to bear witness to the things both happy and tragic that are happening around us.

I am willing to notice that there is an increasing sense of isolation and disconnection between one another in this world. People are simply "existing", enslaved to work, money, and materialism. We have shifted from being a community to everyone for themselves. If we begin to listen and talk to one another, we can become a community once again. Not only can we learn about other people's stories of suffering and happiness, we can learn more about ourselves through their stories. Through active listening and talking to one another, we can solve many problems in this world, because many of these problems are caused by us. We are the problems and the solutions.
