"We are more closer to one another".

This quote is probably my favorite line within the this section of reading. This quote impacted me in ways that made me realize how important other human beings are to the well being of my own. We rely on one another in order to truly become happier. Becoming closer to one another not only aids in the well being of my own, but the well being of everyone around me. If i want to become a happier, I believe I should become closer with a set group of people around me.

We think about whats past, we dream forward to the future.

But do we ever use time to think about the now, and accept what is. It seems as though people are never satisfied, and they either dwell on the past or hope for the future, when really we have everything we need to be happy.

I am willing to reclaim time to think because thinking calm you down. Not only that it is good for you but it helps you realize things that really matters to me, and what is not important to me. It also made me ease my mind, and calm me down when I am really angry about something. It makes me think of the consequences if i do such action, or I just let it go. It makes me keep it together and not mess up. Thinking is amazing.

"When people can think and notice what's going on, we develop ideas that we hope will improve our lives." We, as modern humans, have thousands of thoughts everyday, but only a small fraction of these thoughts relate to our world, to how we will improve the community, and our living environment. And, maybe only a tiny amount of the small fraction is put into work because we don't care, and we think somebody else will change the world. However, I believe critical thinking is essential to advance the chaotic world we live in today.

I definitely will reclaim the time to think. I feel like the school system tries to advocate that, but the ulterior motive is to discourage people to think because they have expected answers and adverse consequences when you do not meet those answers because you see a situation differently from what the school system expects. " We will have to reclaim it [time to think] for ourselves."

Time is a limited resource, but setting some aside for reflection on something important to you is vital in our society today. We are moving too fast during the day, eager to get onto the next task and we don't want to slow down. Each night I set aside some time to reflect on the day and what comes in my future, and I feel much more prepared. Thinking can do everyone some good, either by planning ahead or stopping them from making the biggest mistake in their life. Thinking is as vital to a person as eating: We need it to survive & we should savor it.

Most people I know almost always contemplate what they have done throughout the day when they shower. When we shower, we don't have much that distracts us and we can focus on reviewing what we have done. If we are given more time than just when showering, it would be better for everyone because then decisions would be given the proper amount of time to be thought over and more people would be able to make better judgements on what they want from what they are given.

I am willing to reclaim time to think before I give a comeback to someone who had insulted me. Even if the person had said something hurtful, at the end of the day, everyone means well and sometimes the things they say, they probably don't mean in a negative way. Being the "bigger person" means that I shouldn't have to behave the same way in response to their action, because (1) I'm stooping to their level; (2) I'm giving into their satisfaction; and (3) it doesn't make me any better than they are. So, the next time someone tries to insult me, I'll accept their criticism because "I'm the bigger person;" and also to remind myself that they're probably going through something more dramatic than what I'm going through, so let them have their time to release their anger.

I will try to do my best to set aside time just to think and reflect on my day. I will just go through the day thinking about all the thoughts in my head and the stuff I did today.

"Thinking is the place where intelligent action begins."

This quote shows that in order to start a change it begin with thinking and by thinking we are not following going to follow another person's directions like a mindless puppet.

"A hopeful future is possible."

I am willing to reclaim time to think because there are things that happened in the past that I'd like to change. I want time to think and plan out my future ahead of me. Plans don't always go the way you want it to, but if you take time and effort into these plans, something beautiful and spectacular may happen.

Thinking is absolutely important. I believe that every single thought is creative, whether people realize it or not, because it opens doors into other thoughts and all those tiny, little thoughts you think are inconsequential become huge thoughts and suddenly you have a dream.

"We think about what's past, we dream forward to the future."
I think it is necessary to have time to think because thinking is essential to fulfilling life long goals and overcoming adversity. We learn from past mistakes which helps overcome new challenges we face in the future.

I am willing to reclaim time to think because it is important to slow down and think it through rather than rushing in without any thought in mind. Time is short, so it's best to spend it wisely by thinking things through.

I am willing to reclaim time to think because everyone needa to think about their actions before they do them or at least they should. Thinking and planning things out will never hurt, so I do think people should take at least some time to think about things

I like to think that I think all the time. Margaret Wheatley says, "When obedience and compliance are the primary values, then creativity, commitment, and generosity are destroyed". I think all the time because it keeps my mental health a little bit more optimal and rational. I have trouble making rational decisions because I am more intuitive than rational, so if I take time to think things out, then I can make wiser choices.

Essential Question: "Am I willing to reclaim time to think?"
No I'm not willing to reclaim time to think. Kappa
So this article says that time to think is important, right? And we have to do it ourselves. So, necessarily, I am doing something important now, reclaiming time to think right now, myself, for the assignment. Kappa
I think saying that we have less time to think now is a significant claim. We think, of course, but we have to follow predetermined paths for work. Even menial labor allows you to think independently more. This must mean that we need more opportunity for time to think. So give me the time I will use on this assignment on meditation. Kappa
And thinking is important, It is the force behind every action. Thinking is what has let humanity to become so powerful, being able to think ahead, form new concepts, and understand what came before. Which is just what she wrote about. Also, you have to slow down for real thought, And bureaucracies repress thought, so that ideas do not go to fruition, but we should not be used to ideas not amounting to anything.

Although these ideas are the most significant, probably the most interesting thing for me, as a reader, are not the broad generalisations but some interesting facts used to illustrate the point. They have meaning beyond what is told in the text so this is not unusual, I think. One is Paulo Freire who taught the poor about the forces behind their situation. This is significant in addition to the benefits of allowing people to understand what their situation is because it shows that enabling people to understand what their situation is is sometimes necessary as well and a noble goal. The other real life example is Bernice Johnson who risked life to allow people thoughts of the rights of all races.

Yes! The more time I think, the less I'll be influenced by other's thoughts and opinions. More thinking time helps to develop one's own ideas and opinions, and it helps for more understanding of something.

It is hard for me to think about one thing at a time. Often when I space out it go from thinking about one thing, then it leads to another, and then another. I can go from thinking about college to thinking about what I am going to do this weekend. Thinking is important, but it would be better for me to think about one thing at a time and focus on that before changing my mind.

I will reclaim time to time about my various wants, future and current situation. I always imagine what will happen in the future in a unorganized way. I believe that in order to think deeply, I need to decide what area to think about first. I will work on managing my thoughts, to let it float freely but in a correct direction.
