Getting to Know Each Other

We spend the first few days of class making name tags that we decorate with 3 symbols that represent our various interests. We also participate in an ice breaker. Then we take 3 personality tests to reveal other aspects of who we are. We take the Myers-Briggs Test, the 5 Love Languages Test, and the Character Strengths Test.

My personality is INTP which means that I am a thinker. As an INTP my mode of living is focused internally , where you deal things rationally and logically. I am mostly quiet and I prefer to think over things more logically than act upon instinct. My second mode of living is externally in which I act based upon my general knowledge and intuition. Basically I prefer playing games rather than going outside.

I am an ENFJ, which means that I am a Giver. ENFJs are people-focused individuals. They understand and care about people, and have a special talent for bringing out the best in others. ENFJ's main interest in life is giving love, support, and a good time to other people. ENFJ's are so externally focused that it's especially important for them to spend time alone. ENFJs have definite values and opinions which they're able to express clearly and succinctly. These beliefs will be expressed as long as they're not too personal. ENFJ is in many ways expressive and open, but is more focused on being responsive and supportive of others. When faced with a conflict between a strongly-held value and serving another person's need, they are highly likely to value the other person's needs.

My Languages of Love are:

I am an ENFJ. This means I am a giver. I am warm, outgoing, and motivating. I enjoy spending time with friends and acquaintances. I am very intuitive and I enjoy thinking a lot about the things in the future. As a giver, I am very appreciative of the gifts I receive, but I usually think of another person's needs before my own. I am more interested in devoting time to understand problems than to get the answer.

My top two love languages are Quality Time and Acts of Service.

Tolerant - ENFJs are true team players, and they recognize that that means listening to other peoples' opinions, even when they contradict their own. They admit they don't have all the answers, and are often receptive to dissent, so long as it remains constructive.

Reliable - The one thing that galls ENFJs the most is the idea of letting down a person or cause they believe in. If it's possible, ENFJs can always be counted on to see it through.

Charismatic - Charm and popularity are qualities ENFJs have in spades. They instinctively know how to capture an audience, and pick up on mood and motivation in ways that allow them to communicate with reason, emotion, passion, restraint - whatever the situation calls for. Talented imitators, ENFJs are able to shift their tone and manner to reflect the needs of the audience, while still maintaining their own voice.

Altruistic - Uniting these qualities is ENFJs' unyielding desire to do good in and for their communities, be it in their own home or the global stage. Warm and selfless, ENFJs genuinely believe that if they can just bring people together, they can do a world of good.

Natural Leaders - More than seeking authority themselves, ENFJs often end up in leadership roles at the request of others, cheered on by the many admirers of their strong personality and positive vision.

1.Acts of Service
Anything you do to ease the burden of responsibilities weighing on an “Acts of Service” person will speak volumes. The words he or she most wants to hear: “Let me do that for you.”

2.Receiving Gifts
The perfect gift or gesture shows that one is known, cared for, and prized above whatever was sacrificed to bring the gift to him or her.

3.Quality Time
Being there for this type of person is critical, but really being there—with the TV off, fork and knife down, and all chores and tasks on standby—makes him or her feel truly special and loved.

4.Words of Affirmation
Unsolicited compliments mean the world to this person. Hearing the words, “I love you,” are important— hearing the reasons behind that love sends his or her spirits skyward.

5.Physical Touch
Hugs, pats on the back, and thoughtful touches on the arm—they can all be ways to show excitement, concern, care, and love.

I am an ENFJ, which means that I am very external, doing things according to feeling and my own personal value system. I I also do things via my intuition. ENFJs are people-focused individuals, living in the world of people possibilities. I care about people around me, and will understand, encourage, and support them unselfishly. I highly value others' need, and it's my responsibility to help and support them. "With great love, comes with great responsibility".

-My top two love languages are acts of service and physical touch.

-My character strengths are:
1.Perseverance
2.Judgment
3.Love
4.Prudence
5.Teamwork

Nice to meet you all! :)

My Typology is ESFJ. I value traditions such as birthdays or holidays and believe in the art of giving. I enjoy being in charge and go by the 'work hard, play hard' state of mind. As a caretaker and protector, I can sense the dangers from unscrupulous malefactors to insidious character flaws.

My top 2 love languages are Acts of Service and Quality Time

My top 5 character traits are: Appreciation of Beauty &Excellence, Creativity, Gratitude, Humor and Leadership.
