The time pressured decisions as described are clearly much hindered and corrupted decisions made at the spur of the moment. Clearly time sensitive decisions are clearly not as thoroughly thought out and may have some side effects of unwanted results. Yet with decided selections, might come the many obstacles to face by agreeing to do whatever at the moment.

This week, my reading group is wrapping up our book, “The Child called It” by Dave Pelzer. The most important moment in this section is when Dave prayed for help from God. This marks Dave’s feeling toward “The House”, of that he does not want to live there anymore and is asking for help. I believe Dave reaches his limit of keeping forgive mother. For almost a third of the book, Dave keeps thinking that one day mother will regret for what she has done to him. However, reality has proven that Dave’s mother probably will never come to the kind and beautiful mother she is before. Dave’s prayer shows that he has given up on naïve wish of mother coming back and is now hoping to escape from mother and “The House”. As foreshowed in the beginning of the book, Dave eventually is taken into foster care by the help of his teachers and local policemen.

I think that is a really important part of the book, because if The Gamemakers didn't change the rules then there would only be one winner and the relationship between the two main characters never would have developed. In the book SHUT UP! By Marilyn Reynolds, Mario and Eddie are still act Tio Hector's house arguing with Carmen about Denton being a molester. The important moment of this week's reading was that Eddie was finally able to provide an insight of what Denton has done to him through drawings. This finally brought conclusive proof to Carmen and Tio Hector that Denton has molested him. What I believe will happen next is that Denton will be arrested and put away for a long time. The most important change in this week's reading is that Maria is finally back to show Mario and Eddie that everything is alright. Also, it showed that Carmen was blinded by love and believed whatever Denton was saying over Mario. Maria was brought back because of the email telling Maria about everything which brought her back and Carmen found out the truth about Denton by Eddie's drawings.

In this week’s reading of “If you loved me” by Marilyn Reynolds, Lauren discovers that the driver of the mysterious red Honda is in fact her father, who had abandoned her as a child. Because of this, I feel that her father will became a more prominent character in the story and become more involved in Lauren’s life. This change in the storyline was the most important since it added another character into the small group of people that Lauren truly trusted. In my opinion, the author decided to bring her father into her life in order to shift the reader’s attention away from Tyler, whom Lauren just broke up with. Upon finding out that he was watching her and wanted to be a part of her life, Lauren and her father went out for coffee, establishing an immediate relationship between the two characters.

I am reading "Shut Up!" by Marilyn Reynolds and the most important topic this week is speaking up for the defenseless. The main character Mario is having trouble deciding what to do about his little brother being sexually molested. Although Mario personally witnessed the acts, he is hesitant to speak up because he promised his little brother he wouldn't, and he doesn’t want them to be put into foster homes. In addition, the offender threatened to kill both of them if they told anyone. Mario is stuck between telling an adult, and keeping him and his brother together. Their mom is off fighting a war in Afghanistan, and Mario has to make a big decision. I think Mario will do the responsible thing and find a way to tell an adult, simultaneously keeping him and his brother united and safe from the offender. The most important change was that Mario took his brother to a relatives’ house far away. He did this to keep his brother away from the offender.

In chapters 16-20 of If You Loved Me by Marilyn Reynolds, the most important moment was when Jack told his daughter Lauren about how her mom Marcia died and that her mom really did love Lauren. Jack revealed a touching story about how Marcia tried her best to protect Lauren in the explosion and risked her own life to save her baby daughter’s life. Up until this point in the book, Lauren has antagonized her mother, saying “If she loved me” she wouldn’t have done drugs and taken better care of her as a baby. Discovering the true story and feelings of her previously druggie parents, Lauren has a change of heart and mind because it goes against everything she thought she knew. This week I was reading The Hunger Games. The most important moments are when Katniss and Peeta are struggling to stay alive, especially when faced with genetically altered tributes and Cato. The outcome of these events will determine whether or not Katniss and Peeta will win. I predict that Cato will die, and both Katniss and Peeta will survive. The most important change in this section is when Katniss discovers that the mutated wolves were actually the dead tributes. This really showed how cruel the capital is and proves that they don't really care about the outer districts. The hungers games is exactly that to the people in the capital--a game. However, for many of the tributes, winning the games makes the difference between life or death, even before they entered. Your prediction of the story's plot sounds very plausible. Indeed, capital is cruel. Human capital, which includes creativity and human labor, allows the entire workforce to function. Natural capital-- resources provided by nature-- allows humans to dwell on Earth and thrive. Although natural capital is free, people continue to fight over it and regard it with high value. In the book “1984” by George Orwell, Winston Smith is now on his way to rebelling against Big Brother and his fellow party members. The most important idea that was presented in this week’s reading was about the control of information and power within the society in which Winston lived. “He, who controlled the present, controlled the past. He who controlled the past controlled the future.” This phrase was a key component to the party’s influence over its populace. Because they controlled the past information, they could easily tweak the numbers and details for their own needs in the future. I think Winston will get fairly close to getting caught by the thought police because he is now taking it upon himself to search for other rebels within the working party. This most important change in this week’s reading was the relationship that developed between Julia and Winston because she had simply passed him a note saying “I love you.” This was most likely because Julia had seen Winston on the wrong side of town one night, while he was visiting the antique shop be bought the diary at.

In this week's reading of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky, the most important moment would be Brad calling Patrick a “faggot” and starting a fight with him. I think Charlie will jump into the fight and help Patrick since Brad’s football friends jumped into the fight. Even though Charlie isn’t on the best terms with any of his friends, he will still help out when his friends need him. I think there will be consequences for all of those involved. I don’t think Charlie’s parents will be happy but they might be proud for helping his friend. The most important change in this section was Brad ignoring Patrick, turning against him and being homophobic. This event happened due to the severe beating Brad received from his dad.

I disagree with your assessment that Charlie is going to jump into the fight. It seems to me that that he is way to innocent to do something like that. Although he already abuses substances, he is in no way ready to but himself in harms way to save someone he pretends is his friend.

In this week's reading of "Start Something That Matters" by Mycoskie, the most important point he made would be that trust is the best quality that employee and employer should have. He told us that before TOMS become famous, it was mostly joke to his friend, but with his passion and trust that this business going to provide job and shoes for the needy, he owns a for profit business that gives contribution to the society and also welcome by the society. He proves to us that just because you have nothing to begin with but that should not stop us from stretching our limit and spark our talent to help others. This book inspires me as human being and young generation.

The book I’m reading is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. The most important idea in this week’s reading would probably be when Mister Johnny, Miss Celia’s husband, caught Minny cleaning their house. Minny and Miss Celia both thought Mister Johnny wouldn’t like the idea of a maid working for them, especially when it’s in secret. However, Minny and Miss Celia’s presumption proved to be wrong when Mister Johnny was completely okay with Minny working for them. He didn’t even mind that someone was working for them. In fact, he was only worried about why Miss Celia felt the need to hide this from him and make it seem like she’s doing all the work. This is important in my opinion because it shows that we shouldn’t assume things. We should prepare ourselves for anything that could happen but we don’t need to psych ourselves up for the worse; because that will only make our lives harder than it should be.

In this week's reading of "Telling" by Marilyn Reynolds, Cassie's parents find out what is happening because her cousin, Lisa, gets scared after a talk with Fred and tells her mother. The situation blows up in Cassie's face and for some reason, she feels guilty for what happened. The most important part of this week's reading was when Cassie finally confronted her mother. They had a heart to heart and their shaky relationship seemed to be better after this. I think what will happen next is that Fred will go to jail, maybe because Cassie presses charges against him. I believe the most important change in this section was Cassie's attitude towards her mother. Instead of hating her and feeling like she couldn't understand her, Cassie came to see her mother as a loving guardian. The pivotal moment when this happened was when Fred's wife came over attempting to attack Cassie and Cassie's mother sprayed her with a garden hose until she left.

In If You Loved Me, Lauren catches her boyfriend cheating on her with a girl she had just deemed to be friendly. In addition, she is reunited with her father Jacob. Both of these events have significant impacts on Lauren. Tyler cheating on her leaves her completely heartbroken, to the point where she refuses to go to school. I thought Tyler's actions were foreseen because it is apparent throughout the book that he has trouble containing his urges and has on numerous occasions pressured Lauren to have intercourse. The girl, Shawna, went to Tyler out of vulnerability. Shawna was constantly bullied in school and it only made sense that she fell in love with the only person who was nice to her. However, I think Lauren being reunited with her father is more significant because he has the truth about Lauren's mother's past. I think Lauren will have to reevaluate her entire life in the coming chapters.

He will whether renting an apartment near his workplace. I think later on, David will be helpless because he lost his final protection in the family. Eventually, he should seek helps from the society. In this case, it will be his teachers and nurses in the school, and also the police who will be in charge of his family violence case. The most important change is David’s mother’s attitude towards her husband. The book didn’t mention why this happened, but her actions prove that she is oppressing her husband.

I think will happen next is that the announcers will change the rule and let both of them win because they are both from the same district. In this week's section on NO MORE SAD GOODBYES by Marilyn Renolds, the most important matter was Autumn telling her best friend what happen to her, along with all the other secrets she kept away from her best friend. Another important thing is Autumn has to finalized the adoption process, so she has to think thoroughly of everything that she is requested to fill out. I think what will happen next in the story will be that Autumn will finally have the baby. We could also know what Autumn finally decided to do in the future and how Jason, the baby's dad, will react to the news of him having a child. The most important change in this section was that Autumn finally comes in term with her having the baby and that she is finally part of the solution, instead of the problem. She finally was able to confront her best friend and fix their friendship, by telling her what had happen to herself and her best friend telling her what happen while she wasn't there.

In this weeks reading of "Monster," by Walter Dean Myers, the most important issue is proving Steve Harmon innocent. Since racism is such a crucial problem in this book, many people assume he is a monster just because he is black. However, the lawyers of Harmon and another guy who was involved in the robbery, are now questioning another guy that was involved in the crime. This man was offered a deal with his jail time if he told the police who else was involved. I think that this guy is going to end up paying for his actions. He cannot commit a crime and be let go just for helping the cops find the other suspects. I also think that Steven Harmon will be proved innocent because his lawyer is making the guy who is getting let free look really bad. Harmon's lawyer is very good at her job and I think that she will be able to convince the jury that Harmon is innocent. The most important change this section is that now all the lawyers are questioning this guy who admitted to participating in the crime. They are making this guy look really bad, instead of making Harmon and the other suspect look bad. All of this happened because the guy who admitted to the crime and told the police the name of everybody else involved, would be offered a deal if he revealed the names of the other people who participated.

The book I'm currently reading is "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. The most important ideas/moments in this section were Katniss getting the medicine for Peeta and their time together in the cave.I think they will have to leave their safe haven-the cave- soon because the games would be too dull if there wasn't more action than the two of them just spending time together. I think the most important thing in this section was how close Katniss and Peeta got. Peeta was in love with Katniss from the very beginning but that wasn't how she felt for him. And the star-crossed lovers thing was an act they put on. But their time in the cave seems to blur the distinctions between acting and reality. It seems that Katniss is falling for Peeta too- by all their intimate conversations and kissing.

However, Eddie will not say a word and Mario can’t tell them anything because he has promised Eddie not to tell anybody. I think what will happen next is that everything will be clear and they won’t let Carmen take Eddie back, because I can tell how Hector’s family loves the Mario and Eddie and they know what kind of person Carmen is. The most important change in this section is that Eddie is beginning to reveal the secret through his drawings as it has signs in them and the problem should be solved soon.

Lakshmi is a 13 year old girl that come from a poor family in Nepal. Lakshmi’s step father is a lazy man who gambles and does not work. Lakshmi’s family can be in better shape, but the problem is her stepfather always gambles away all their money. Her mother says that it is better to have a man of the house that is a gambler than have no man of the house. When Lakshmi’s mom finally sold her gold earring to pay the rent, her stepfather took the extra money to gamble and came back with a useless motorcycle. This shows how useless of a man her stepfather is and it is sad that Lakshmi has to respect him. Like the title of the book, SOLD, I believe that Lakshmi will get sold into prostitution due to her stepfather’s debt. Lakshmi will eventually get sold because Lakshmi’s step father always eyes her like she is an object that he can get money from. The most important change in the story is when their city had a drought and then a monsoon. Unlike the other fathers, Lakshmi’s stepfather did not build anything to prevent their crops from being flooded. These natural disasters caused their crops to be destroyed along with their only source of income. This event will probably will cause Lakshmi’s stepfather to sell her into prostitution to quell his horrible desire to gamble.

I am currently reading the book SHUT UP by Marilyn Reynolds. In this section, the most important moment that happened was that Eddie finally began to strengthen his weakness by being able to share the horrible experience that has happened to him caused by Denton. He did this by drawing the scene where Denton was about to sexually assault him in a way no other child should experience. With the drawings by Eddie, it can prove that Denton was a molester all along, and that Eddie and Mario were not lying. I believe what is going to happen next should be obvious. Denton is going to be caught and be arrested. He will be sentenced to life in prison after what he did to Eddie and other kids. The most important change in this week’s reading is that Eddie is showing that he doesn't have to be scared of Denton anymore. There are always good people in the world to help stop the bad guys.

1- I think that one of the most significant ideas presented in this weeks reading was collaborating with others. Nowadays people must learn to work well with others because teamwork is a very essential aspect of life. We will not always be able to handle complications on our own so it is necessary to work with others. In the Hunger Games, Katniss starts to work with a girl from another district, proving to be rather efficient.

In this week's reading of "Shut Up" by Marilyn Reynolds, the most important moment was when Mario couldn't take living with the molester, Denton so Mario takes Eddie to one of their relatives to be protected. From what is about to happen next I would guess that since Denton really wants Eddie that there would be a fight for the responsibility of Eddie. Due to the fact that Denton has done terrible stuff to Eddie he wouldn't want to let go the one person who experienced it roam free to tell the police. Since Mario was one of the witness that seen everything happen he will do anything to protect his brother but Mario is faced with the conflict of his promise to his brother that he swears that he won't tell anyone what had happened in the incident. Mario would probably tell people about Eddie's secret because he has to say something to protect his own brother. The most important change in this reading is the fact that Mario has to make a difficult choice whether or not to break his promise to Eddie or to keep it and let the whole incident slip.

In this week's reading of the book "Sold" by Patricia McCormick, the most important moment was when the main character Lakshmi, a young Nepalese girl raised in a poor mountainous village, is introduced to a woman in the marketplace and gets the chance to work as a maid for her. Since a seasonal monsoon washed away the family crops and the family is desperately poor, Lakshmi takes up the opportunity and follows the woman back into the city to work. However, I feel that the offer of the maid job is a total fake and that Lakshmi will likely doing something she doesn't want to do. I think this because of how the book is titled and how the woman is somewhat vague in her description of the job. The most important change in this section, nonetheless, was when Lakshmi made the choice to leave her village and embark on a new life journey, thanks to the woman's offer and the "promise" of a better future.

In the Perks of Being a Wallflower by Steven Chbosky, the foreshadowing of Brad's and Patrick's turmoil has escalated to a climax where Brad's decision to reject Patrick and his own homosexuality leads to a physical fight and emotional pain. Patrick is completely devastated while Brad struggles to maintain his jock-like persona. It's saddening to see Brad completely deny Patrick, especially since Patrick treated him so sincerely. What's even more saddening is that Brad, who was in the cusp between accepting himself fully and flat out denial, had chosen the latter because of his intolerant dad and society's norms. It was made quite clear earlier in the book that this denial will bring him nothing but sadness. This common need to deny oneself in human society just to conform with others and be accepted is tiring and bleak. We look up to genius who pioneer different and amazing concepts, but somehow we can't accept the equally amazing differences in the natural world.

In this week’s reading of The Help by Kathryn Stockett, the most important moments in the text would have to be how the Church recognizes what Aibileen, Minny, and Skeeter have done with the book. It shows how they supported them and would try to keep them safe. Another important part would be how scared Aibileen, Minny, and Skeeter are because they might be hurt if anyone finds out what they did, so throughout this part they are waiting till Hilly gets to the end of the book so she can stop the speculation. I think that Hilly will reach the end of the book and start denying that the book is about Jackson, and the girls will be safe. The most important change in this section of the book is that the book was published and people are reading it. Also that Skeeter has stopped wanting the approval of Hilly and the girls from the junior league.

In "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky, conflicts arise when Brad calls Patrick a "faggot". After Brad was caught with a guy by his father, his attitude towards Patrick has dramatically changed because of the beatings he received for being homosexual. Needing to maintain his reputation, Brad tries to prove his "straightness" by insulting Patrick. However, Charlie intervenes the dispute by threatening to take out Brad and his friends through forms of physical violence. In this moment, Charlie’s actions should be looked out for because it shows a side in Charlie’s bravery and dedication to his friend. In today’s society, the perception of homosexuality in high school is still a taboo topic but it is slowly accepted in parts of the United States. Brad's verbal taunt towards Patrick is his own downfall because he cannot accept the real him and must mask his true feelings sexually. Society's disability to accept certain changes in societal standards has caused instances of bullying to form.

David Perzer's "A Child Called "It"" described a story about David's child life being ruined by his brutal mother. His mother treat him better than the dog and any other brothers in the family. Only David the one keep being his mother's target of cruelty. And David don't want to tell anyone outsider about it and keep bearing it. He hates his mother the way she did to him, but he still loves her because she is his mother. And David's father, also a coward, not wanting to get in trouble by helping David. I believe next will be a book about David's life when he leaves this sad place. The main point about this book is to tell the truth about child abuse case, and wanted people to change their way of how they think it actually is.

In this weeks reading of "Monster" by Walter Dean Myers, I think the most important ideas are when witnesses are called to the stand. This shows everything that went on and gives an idea of who seems guilty. There is more than one person involved in this crime, one of them being Steve Harmon. Even though he didn’t really do anything, he is going to get in a lot of trouble. I think that next Steve will be accused of being deeply involved in the crime. Steve will get in trouble but not just because of the crime, but because of his skin color. I think that the most important change is just the different things people had to say on the stand and Steve’s thoughts about the whole thing.

In “The Secret Life Of Bee’s” the most important thing this week that I have read was that how someone’s death can affect someone’s life so much that it can cause a routine change from something that they have done every day. Another important moment that happened was that June gets engaged and Lily and Zach admit their feelings for each other. I think that after May’s death, everyone’s life was affected and that this causes many feelings and emotions that have been stored up all in the heart to burst and that leads to many mixed emotions. I think that this will happen because they may or may not want to look at someone to blame and that just causes more problem for everyone. The most important change that has occurred in this section was that May’s death affected everyone especially Lily. Lily has always been attached to May because she was the person that she was always able to, to talk to about her problems and they had a connection. Lily was the person that was able to always get May and whenever she was about to cry from all her emotions, that come across her mind, Lily was always able to make her forget about it.
